In deciding where to stay I want to stay on-site at an affordable location (one of the all-star resorts or the next tier up). I looked into staying at a Wilderness Cabin (in Fort Wilderness which has lots of ammemities to keep us entertained when not running). That sleeps 6 for 360/night and includes a kitchen. (that's 60/person/night). Don't know if the taxes were included. This might be out of our price range.

I checked star resorts have suites--sleep 6--2 rms.--2 baths. See blog farther down. Music and sports have suites, not pop century Regular rms. seem to be $84. If closer to main bldg (preferred-$94.) At least one suite would be nice because there are micro. and fridges in rooms. The deposit for rms. booked now is one night's chg. Airline tickets are pay in full with no guarantee the airline will still be flying. I plan to book Disney June 1st.

I argee that a suite would be nice, especially if we can all be close together.

I'm in for sharing a suite. I like that there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and the fridge/microwave. We can have one room for sleeping and one for entertaining. I like the All Stars, but I could also do the Wilderness Cabin. I need to have a pool there - for TK (and me). Anything else is ok - pool, bath room and bed. I am going to check out the Disney site next.

Pop Century doesn't have suites, but their swimming pool was so accessable AND the walk to the preferred rms. was shorter than at All Star Sports, something you may want to think about after the marathon. We can still rent adjoining rms---and ask for a $10.00 a night fridge. Definately need a fridge for the ice packs after cool downs.

I bet the pools are accessible at the other places. And really, how much further away are the rooms at the other hotels? I wonder how much further are the wilderness cabins. When we went for marshmellows, that was a LONGGGG hike.

The Paquette plans are to fly down to Disney late afternoon Thurs. and return via Boston on Tuesday. That way we can fly home with TK and P'nut. I think P'nut may still be a little sore ...Katerina can keep TK occupied on the plane.
